Dubsquare in April comes with a lil Berlin-special, featuring J-Trex from Berlin's longest running dubstep-night, Freakcamp. Starting out in 2006, the night has been featuring artists such as Ramadanman, Pinch, Scuba, Tes La Rok, N-Type, TRG or Elemental - often a long time before they became better known to a broader public. Having his roots in Berlin's vibrant Drum & Bass scene, J-Trex keeps pushing a deeper, breakbeat-oriented vision of Dubstep. Thereby, his sets feature own productions as well as heaps of dubplates.
DJ Mohak has been living in Berlin and Barcelona before she decided to move to Vienna in 2009. Aside from running her own blog Heartinmigration.com, she has been enthusing crowds across Europe with a mix of Tropical, Dubstep, Kuduro and other yet to discover pockets of bass music.
Being involved Vienna's Dubquake collective, Dubster is responsible for some of the city's finest parties dedicated to bass-culture. He'll be kicking off the night with a set leading from Dub/roots to Dubstep.
Last not least, Burn Those IDLE Cycles are presenting a visual project based on routines which will be coded on the fly. Boris and IZC will be hosting the night.
