Im März begrüßt das kleine Städtchen Wien erstmals, ein Soundsystem aus dem fernen Jamaika. Noch dazu eines der bekanntesten; denn niemand geringerer als zwei Gesandte des Caveman Soundsystem haben ihren Besuch in der Arena angekündigt!
Ende der 80er Jahre und Anfang der 90er kam der Sound zum ersten Mal durch Artst wie “Nardo Ranks” und “Pan Head” und deren Hits in Jamaika groß raus. Jedoch der größte Artist des Soundsystems kam Anfang der 90er unter dem Namen „Likkle one“ dazu, später änderte er ihn zu dem heute weltweit bekannten „Sizzla“ um. Der Caveman-Yard ist weiterhin ein Treffpunkt für alle Rasta- und Boboartists in Kingston. Das Soundsystem ist ein Magnet für alle Fans des Conscious Reggae. Es ist der Nummer 1 Rasta - Sound in und ausserhalb Jamaikas.
Am D&B Floor werden ,seit langer Zeit wieder einmal, die beiden grössten und bekanntesten Crews Wiens ,Synergetic und Trife.Life!, zusammen auf der Bühne stehen.
Kontrastreiches Programm zwischen Kingston und Wien - von hartem nationalem Drum and Bass bis zu internationalem conscious Reggae. Zum Chillen lädt der dritte Floor - hier in der Galerie gibt’s 2Step, Hip Hop und R&B von Highhat und Friends.

juhuuu!

freu, freu - va weil ich den sa versäumt hab... dafür war ich wenigstens am nachmittag noch auf der buckelpiste und hab mir ein paar wirbel wieder-eingerenkt :-)

jedenfalls: samstag wird's schwierig zu entscheiden, wann man wo sein sollte... caveman vs. aziz vs mat vs synergetics... juhuuu!

zoe: von caveman sind ini-man (selecta) und grizzly (mc) am start...zwar kein sizzla aber ich denke nicht das sie ihn brauchen um die arena am samstag zu rocken...ausserdem wirst du sicherlich einige mörder sizzla-dubplates hören

ich freu mich schon unglaublich darauf. vielleicht liegt es daran, dass ich beim letzten unglaublicherweiße nicht anwesend war , aber dieses verdammte trife.life am abend davor
