Für unsere April-Ausgabe des Eristoff Tracks FUTURE BEATZ hat sich CONCORD DAWN aus dem entfernten Neuseeland angesagt. Matt Harvey aka Matty C aka CONCORD DAWN ist in Neuseeland ein absoluter Superstar, dem schon einmal MTV NZ einstündige Specials widmet. Aber auch international ist Concord Dawn seit vielen Jahren in der Drum’n’Bass Szene verankert und sorgt regelmäßig mit seinem neuseeländischen Charme für gute Stimmung in Clubs weltweit. Matty C hat eine ganz besondere Beziehung zu Wien, denn er lebt seit einigen Jahren in der Bundeshauptstadt. Wegen seines übervollen Booking-Kalenders haben CONCORD DAWN Auftritte in Wien aber trotzdem Seltenheitswert. Der Gig bei Eristoff Tracks FUTURE BEATZ ist der Erste in Wien seit einem Jahr. In den Jahren seiner Karriere hat CONCORD DAWN bereits viele Erfolge gefeiert. Die vier veröffentlichten Alben haben mehrfach bei den New Zealand Music Awards die Auszeichnung ‚Bestes Album‘ erhalten. Der bahnbrechende Song ‚Morning Light‘ – eine der ganz großen Drum’n’Bass Hymnen - gewann in der Kategorie ‚Best Song‘ und ‚Most Radioplay‘ , und auch mit dem letzten Album ‚Uprising‘ hat sich CONCORD DAWN Gold beim wichtigsten Musikpreis Neuseelands in verschiedenen Kategorien abgeholt.
