DONNY
Donny started making music to kill time and have a laugh. Originally drumming for his friends band, Donny's links have always been strong with the driving force of music, the beats. An investment in studio-equipment and a dedication to sound design, mix down and arrangement got things moving, and September 2005 saw the birth of his first 12" record; "Medievil Beating / Hide & Seek" on the new managed Mindrush Recordings imprint.
Not content with sitting in his studio cutting up, twisting and distorting any given noise coming out of his speakers, Donny has begun showcasing his skills as a DJ. If you want to book Donny get in contact with either:
VENGEANZE
Bassed in Seville in Spain, Fernando Sancho first got involved with music by playing the drums in hardcore and punk bands, during which time he discovered electronic music - sounds of Breakbeat / Nu Skool and Drum & bass.
Soon this style owns him and he started to make his own music with his bandmate (currently one half of the infamous duo Stormtrooperz). Eventually he decided to leave the bands to pursue drum and bass.
The interest of the local scene came quickly, and in 2005 he met Matias Rubio at one of the dnb parties in Seville. In the end of 2005, after several months djing together they decided to form the duo Kalashnikov. As a result of a lot of hard work in the studio they attracted the interest of many established names such as Raiden, Proket, Counterstrike, Masheen and Dylan to name a few.
In 2006 the duo were signed by Offkey Recordings, after playing a gig with Raiden who was shocked by the powerful and forceful nature of their music. Fernando’s side project resulted in his first 12” on a new spanish label called Melting Pot Recordings together with Kenei, which was well received by the scene.
Many labels then started taking interest in the duo, and Future Sickness Digital released another tune, “Fucking” with a Zardonic tune on the flip. With this release they secured a place in the scene with the support of artists such as The Sect, Proket and Sunchase. This year also saw the end of the ‘Kalashnikov’ moniker however, as the duo decided to work on their own solo material, but intend to collaborate again in the future.
Vengeanze is one of the most outstanding *******s of a new style labelled by Proket “Schranz & bass” and his sound is characterized by the combination of the elements of the hardest and most forceful techno with drum and bass, generally resulting in a terrifying sequence of technoid power!
ZUBCORE
Zubcore is the 24 year old Austrian Dieter Dobnik, who grew up in a small mountain village called Tamsweg (Lungau, Salzburg, Austria), where he started as a dj, producer and promoter at the age of 16.
Always being influenced by the darkest sounds espescially electronical music offers, his sound now developed into a mixture of dark, rave-inspired stabs combined with freaked out breakbeats and monolith hardcore basslines.
Zubcore is known as promoter of "Therapy Sessions Austria" in Vienna - a freak approved anger drum-circle, bringing the ones like Technical Itch, The Panacea, Dylan, Raiden, Current Value and many more to Vienna. Spreading the therapy-vibe all over Austria, Zubcore got known as "The Undertaker" (surely to be proved if you look into the pictures section) and already got booked to countries like Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Belgium, Germany, Serbia and more, being always a guarantee for the future sound of sickness.
After receiving airplay on various radio stations in Austria and Europe, Zubcore's sound had his first official impact in 2006 on Black Hoe Recordings, when Migu signed "Ave Satanis" for his label; followed by further releases on Future Sickness Records, Trickdisc Recordings, Hell's Bassment and others; be prepared for more colaboration and remix sickness 2007 !!!
Being part of the "Future Sickness Records" crew , Zubcore clearly shows what this specific kind of music is all about : hatred, fear and penetration !!!
