ANDY F ( ELECTROSOUL SYSTEM )
Electrosoul System is the production name of new Russian sensation Andrey
Burtaev. He started writing music 6 years ago and recently started producing
atmospheric / progressive drum & bass 2 years ago with his friend Dmitriy.
The duo's first tune was a down tempo track and from here they had little
hope that their music would be released in the future. They stuck to their
guns and continued to produce the music they love which eventually led to a
track being signed up. Their first release was on TAM records [St
Petersburg, Russia] and featured on a CD compilation with a host of other
Russian producers. Approximately in too time they have begun the
cooperation with Moscow promoter, owner of musical shop and distribution by
Roman P. aka SMC P.R. Being by the exclusive distributor GLO to Russia, he
are in good contact with label, musicians and LTJ Bukem himself.
In 2002, his demo got to LTJ Bukem and he was quick to snap up 3 tracks
altogether [2 tunes for GLR and 1 for his Cookin' label]. It was around this
time that the duo were getting influenced by Blame, Future Engineers and
Seba, and started making more futuristic and deep sounds that they felt
would be more appropriate for the dancefloors.
At the moment they have more than 6 signed contracts on labels like Good
Looking, Covert Operations, Camino Blue and his tracks plays some major
dr'n'bass dj in UK and USA.
2003 was marked by their complete break, his track A Tear In My Eye was
released on GLO's high acclaimed series PROGRESSION SESSION 9 that was
recorded live by Makoto along side with MC Deeizm at Space Lab Yellow,
Tokyo, Japan. Now guys are working on more darker and futuristics tracks.

Kirill PROFIT* / of the beginnings the musical career in 1996, having marked
itself as dj, playing techstep and darkside, namely music of labels::
Metalheadz, Virus, Formation, Prototype and etc..
The beginnings to play in the Moscow clubs, first of which became psy-trance
club the Chaos as was the often visitor of such clubs, as a Chameleon,
Titanik, DK MAI, MDM and others. On confluence of circumstances was
necessary to combine career dj with service in armies, that further has
brought the fruits. In 2000 becomes often by the visitor, and in the further
resident of many parties, acted with such stars, asKemal & Rob Data, John ?,
Trace, J Majik, Jojo Rock, Spice. In 2001 begins to prefer so-called
technoid drumn'bass, in particular to labels Dsci4, Nerve, C4C, redlight,
BSE, Cryptic Audio, Negative. At present constantly plays in various clubs
Moscow, including sole regular party STEPPIN'SESSION (3rd seaons) other
cities of Russia and near foreign countries. Is the owner by not ordinary dj
skills, and for last year are trying to produce his own music together with
some russian dr'n'bass producers.
ROMAN PARAMONOV - the promoter
Roman P. Aka SMC P.R. started his way in music business more than 15 years
ago. It was Heavy Metal Era, Cold War and Berlin's Wall just was broken
down and Perestroyka just was starting. There still was KGB order, and most
of music was illegal, not a clubs, all concerts was on underground basis, so
people was meeting on train station and going out of city in forest to
changing by music, magazines and etc. Militia struggled with it, they
caught some persons and there was some The cases when people put(planted)
in prison, anyway of troubles at school, institute and at work were
supplied. Roman P. have passed through all this.
Then on the basis of those departures in a wood and meetings near from
official musics shops in Moscow, began to occur the first clubs of the music
fans. Eventually has survived only one, and on his) basis has appeared the
huge musical market, in the people nicknamed Gorbushka. (now, it also
exists, but essence it are twisted , under pretext of struggle with a
piracy, the authorities of city have altered all - that is have closed the
old market generated spontaneously, and have opened new under a roof,
ostensibly with all convenience. Actually, if someone was in Moscow and was
on modern Gorbushka (Gorbushkin Dvor) know, that it on 90 % piracy
production. Money from the given measure acts in ??????? of authorities of
city and militia).
It was the musical dawn, the Novel had there one of the most fashionable
and advanced points, with the newest and progressive music, which he brought
from London. Also he had some small shops - departments in city, and later
he became the co-owner and director first in Russia of shop that was selling
dj's vinyls - DISCOCSID. Together with it, he began to be engaged in
organization of parties, one of largest and successful was organization of
TWISTED PARTY with monster of psyhedelic trance HALLUCINOGEN and
participation of Russian platform on LOVE PARADE in Berlin, it was spring of
1998. After that there was a August crisis, and on any time all business
activity and all business in Russia has run into hibernation. Many people
have lost the money, the set of clubs and shops was closed.
The time has passed, all has risen in norm, and Roman aka SMC P.R.
continued to turn in club sphere, and as logical progression became
organization his own and only regular parties STEPPIN'SESSION, that's
oriented break-beat culture - dr'n'bass, uk-garage, break-beat,
nu-skool-breaks and etc.. Last spring STEPPIN'SESSION was celebrating three
years. For this time within the framework of his parties and not only he
has brought in Moscow many djs and artists like: LTJ BUKEM & MC CONRAD,
NOOKIE & MC FIVE ALIVE, FUTURE ENGINEERS, BLAME & MC DRS, FREESTYLERS, DEPTH
CHARGE, MARK "RUFF" RIDER and his STRICTLY UNDERGROUND Crew, GUSH COLLECTIVE
and others. Having got used to work on several directions Roman is engaged
also producing and promotion of the Russian executors and DJs on west -
Europe, UK and USA. In what too there is some success - the track of
Moscow's ELECTROSOUL SYSTEM A Tear In My Eye are released on Good Looking's
Progression Session 9. The story continued...
