Mickey started DJing in the late eighties and became well known with the advent of the Acid House movement in South London. He was given the name Mickey Finn because of his build by mates and friends in the scene. In the early nineties breakbeat and loose jungle techno was filling his record boxes as he travelled the length and breadth oh the UK. Such was the demand for his skills at this time by huge events all around the country he was even strarting to catch private planes between gigs. Mickey's production talents started off with Biting Back - She's Breaking Up then partnered Gavin and Claudio for Urban Shakedown - Some Justice. Now in the late nineties Mickey travels the world and throws down his vibe in countries like Japan, USA, Australia, Holland, Ibiza, Germany, Finland, Israel and France to name just a few.

Being at the helm of the UK drum and bass phenomenon means his record bags are full of the most upfront dubplates and latest releases from producers all around the world

die nachm u bahn ausbau vielleicht frei werdenden schächte in denen jetzt die u4 richtung heiligenstadt, bzw. die u2 fährt..hehe, also, die rechte wand niederreißen, und quasi den rest nspiegeln, hehe, das wär lustig
(natürlich völlig utopisch, außerdem, das flex passt scho so, sonst wärs oft zu groß, auch wenns manchmal stressig wird...)

da hatta recht ich denks flex wär wenns no grösser wär einfach noch voller! es würdn halt proportional mehr leut kommen weils ja mehr platz gibt!!

also leutz, die partys im flex sind gerade deshalb so genial, weil das flex eben so klein ist, und tunnelförmig, da konzentriert sich die ganze stimmung und die energie viel mehr.. die form vom flex zeichnet es ja erst aus!! sonst wärs ja wie die arena .. karmalos

das flex soll bloß so bleiben wie es is!! (imo natürlich )

mickey finn - den hab ich mir ganz anders vorgestellt, der schaut ja sehr witzig aus
hoffentlich wirds !!!!!

yeah, wir warten alle auf den lieben MICKEY FINN, der uns unglaublicherweise zum ersten mal mit seiner präsenz in österreich "beglückt"!

was in dem bla-bla-text von da oben noch fehlt:

also mickey finn hat langjährige dj-erfahrung (im gegensatz zu miss spice, die eher als produzentin tätig ist, als als dj),

mickey hingegen ist als dj sehr busy :


links zu seinen sets hab ich keine, aber ich denke mal es wird ne mixture aus oldskool und den freshesten dubs werden....

und 12 € eintritt ist bei so einem act schon gerechtfertigt, - ist halt irgendwie fast schade, dass die 2nd generation der drum&bass-hörer ihn anscheinend kaum mehr kennt? seine tunes früher waren alle classics (in d. jump-up-area*g*)!
