Wer ist schon gerne die ewige Nummer 2? Wohl niemand. Aber nur ganz knapp hinter dem unerreichten Bob Marley als die Nummer 2 der Reggaemusik zu gelten..?!

Die Rede ist von Max Romeo. Für viele Reggaefans ist der 62-Jährige sogar die unangefochtene Nummer 1 des Early- und Rootsreggae. Der Reggae-Dub-König der Gegenwart steckt alle an, die schon einmal von der grossen Freiheit geträumt haben bzw. träumen. Seine wohligen Klänge vermitteln auch in noch so grauem Regenwetter die Stimmung einer lauen Sommernacht auf Jamaika. Nicht zuletzt verdankt auch die Kultband "The Prodigy "ihren eigentlichen Durchbruch Max Romeo’s Superhit "I Chase The Devil", das die Basis für die Hymne "Outta Space" bildete.
Das MDZ-Team ist erfreut und stolz seinen Gästen das einzige und erste Österreich-Konzert dieser Rastaikone und seiner Band präsentieren zu dürfen. Early and After Jugglin by Bunfiresquad & Treasure Isle.
