Marka was a rocker in his early teenage. He had listened Guns n Roses, Bon Jovi, etc. He was a guitar player in group for a few years. After he started to listen grunge, mainly Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam.

In the high school years, one of his schoolmate (Bratwa) showed him the Nine Inch Nails and after some more electronic music. Their musical taste was absulutely the same in that time, so they were listening music together (cd changes, tapes, copies, etc). In 1997 marka decided to be a dj, so he asked his friend take him some brand new vinyls from London to have a starter set for the dj career.

In that time in Budapest there were only a few record shops with not really satisfying stocks. Marka bought two used turntables and his father brought him a very cheap and simple mixer from Germany. So he had some records and a setup for trainig at home... he did it every day.

Marka's first gig was at Sziget Festival '97. He played 7 and a half hours!
In those years the party life in Budapest wasn't too big, but he played on some parties, coffes and bars. Mr Bratwa had the same idea to be a dj, so they started to play mainly drumandbass together. Two years later Bratwa joined to Longman and made the Airbag team, which is still running.

In the year 2001, marka has opened his own record shop (BeatGoZone), which was running for a year. In that year marka had a lot gigs all over the country. He has played in some big parties in Budapest and together with his brother he started to organise and be the resident of Jazz n Bass parties under the jazztaminute name.
That jazz n bass party serial is after the 21st full housed piece and it's still famous and running... and marka tries to do his best.

Marka joined the Project East! organization in 2004, as the first hungarian member.
