DIGIBLUS021 LOZ CONTRERAS
Hailing from Leeds, UK. Loz Contreras has been making huge waves on the liquid circuit over the past year. Scoring residencies at Jungle Jam and Breakfast Club in Leeds; and Damage in New Castle, the Englishman has gained quite the reputation amongst an A-list of drum n bass heavyweights and broadcast programs including Grooverider, Fabio, and Crissy Criss for Radio 1 and 1 Xtra; Caspa, Mt. Eden, LTJ Bukem, and Makoto, while scoring releases on a half-dozen labels including Human Elements, Eight-FX, Seeking Blue, Soul Deep, Liquid Brilliants, Artist Recordings, and Blu Saphir.
Big things are in store for 2012 with future releases planned on Artist Recordings and Dub Police. Also keep your eyes peeled for a huge collaboration EP with Mt. Eden.

With support from Grooverider, Fabio and Crissy Criss on Radio 1, this funky number is making waves across the world. Rolling drums and reverberant vocal samples open the tune, while trumpets and saxophones jazz it up in the background. Bongos bring in the half-time samba feel, while the ladies sing out their melody. Very reminiscent of the old style of liquid drum & bass, Sienta is sure to keep the floor moving!
B: KEEP ON KEEPIN ON
Keep On Keepin On was a great find for the Blu Saphir stable. As a label progresses over time, they become known for a certain sound. Loz Conteras definitely hit the jackpot with this one! Luscious vocals and beautified strings dance atop driving drums while mellow synths create fullness. After a quick breath of air at the minute mark, the drums attack again rolling this one straight out to the bassbins.
