IKKI (DIM MAK, Crux Rec., Kiez Beats) – lives in Madrid and is half French half Spanish. As a teenager he already played the guitar in a metalband. Summer 2006 he started producing his own tracks featured by Nina Martine. In 2007 he worked together with The Bloody Beetroots on a song called Pinky Girl. Tired of the strict separation of metal and electro he decided to pu...t them together and started to remix well known metal songs as IKKI in 2007.
Not only that IKKI played in many underground clubs but also was part of setlists of many international DJs. Meanwhile he actually is the god-father of Madrids electro scene: He acts as a producer, hes got a studio and two years ago he built up his own label "Nu Bakalei". Furthermore he was a resident Dj in Madrids number one nightclub: Soundsick.
It isn't a secret that metal lovers aren't often in partyclubs – IKKI managed to bridge the gap between both scenes. Therefore he acts as aftershow DJ on metal concerts and likewise on electroparties. Isolated from the outside world he produced the tunes of his first EP "BAKALA BANGER" in a cellar. IKKI shows hot electrocovers of well known metal songs, which turn up in every club.
