Bursting onto the scene in 2006 amidst a flurry of hype, Sharooz's whirlwind debut 'Hell Yeah' became one of the club records of that year, winning the support of the world’s biggest DJs. Roger Sanchez aired it at his Release Yourself party at Space, David Guetta played it to 20,000 people at Sensation White, DJ Dan spun it live on his BBC Essential Mix at the Ultra Festival in Miami, XFM, Capital and Galaxy FM all spot-played it, eventually earning a no.2 slot in their Buzz and Cool Cuts Chart. Played numerous times on Radio 1 by Judge Jules and Pete Tong, it appeared on compilations in Germany, France, Spain, Russia, Japan, China and of course the UK, on Ministry of Sound’s Mash-Up, topping the compilation charts there, selling over 60,000 units.
Capitalising on this success, Sharooz completed a brace of remixes and original tracks for a diverse range of labels such as Record Makers and Milk & Sugar. During this time his DJ profile began to rise, performing at world class venues alongside the likes of Pete Tong, D.I.M, Congorock, Way Out West and even Shaun Ryder. With the release of much-vaunted 4th single 'The Knock' on Rotor Recordings, the gig offers increased, with shows as far afield as Serbia, Switzerland, Russia, Spain, Sweden, USA and France. Awarded Kiss FM's 'One For The Weekend', and supported by the likes of D.Ramirez, Malente and Will Bailey, 'Sextitude' eventually charted at no.29 on Beatport. The year also marked Sharooz's first foray into major label remix territory with a big-room dub of Craig David's 'Hot Stuff' on Warner Brothers. Later in 2008, Sharooz scored one of the year's biggest selling dance downloads with 'Get Off' on Miles Dyson's Plasmapool label. Supported by the likes of 2 Many DJs, Moby, Mylo, Erol Alkan, Boys Noize, Kissy Sell Out, Dada Life, BBC Radio 1, Virgin, Galaxy and Kiss FM, it peaked at no.6 on the Beatport charts, remaining in the top 10 for over 6 weeks.
2009 was another sterling year, with 2 successive US tours completed, a 4 page feature in Future Music magazine and remixes for Dylan Rhymes on his famed Lot 49 imprint, Hardcore Uproar's classic 'Together' and a collaboration with Kelevra and MC Flipside on PBR Recordings. 8th single 'Adrenalize' was released in August on on Mofo Hifi, winning the support of Fake Blood, Steve Aoki, Adam Freeland and many more. Later in that year, Sharooz remixed Moby's 3rd single 'One Time We Lived' from his critically acclaimed 'Wait For Me' album. 2010 ses Sharooz complete a third successive US tour and a remixes for Grammy nominated producers Dean Coleman and Dave Aude.
