Aufgepasst und Ohren gespitzt – HIGH CONTRAST - einer der wichtigsten Vertreter des Liquid Funk schlägt am 14. März 2009 bei Future Beatz auf, um sommerliche Klänge und Temperaturen nach Wien zu bringen. Seit seinem Debütalbum ‚True Colors‘ zählt High Contrast zur Oberliga seines Genres und brachte im Jahr 2002 überraschend frischen Wind in die festgefahrene Drum’n’Bass Szene. Nur zwei Jahre später legte er mit ‚High Society‘ ein Schäufelchen nach und knüpfte nahtlos an den Erfolg von ‚True Colors‘ an. Mit seinem dritten Album landete er 2007 erneut einen Hit nach dem anderen, ‚Tough Guys Don’t Dance‘ fordert – wider des Titels – alle Partypeople auf Hüften und Beine zu schwingen.

Zurecht gilt High Contrast als einer der Vorreiter des Liquid Funk und wird als „Retter der Drum’n’Bass Szene“ gehandelt, der auch noch neben seinen zahlreichen Veröffentlichungen Zeit für Remixes für The White Stripes oder Missy Elliot findet.

Mit „Gassenhauern“ wie Racing Green, Brief Encounter, Music is Everything, Return of Forever und vielen mehr hat sich der sympathische Erfolgsproduzent in die Herzen zahlreicher Drum’n’Bass Heads gespielt. Aktuell sorgt er mit seinem Remix von Adele’s ‚Hometown Glory‘ für Aufregung und vollgepackte Dancefloors.
