RESIDENCY - eine regelmäßige Clubnight im Herzen Wiens und in einer neuen Location!
Zweimonatlich wird die resident - Crew die legendäre im Wiener Volkstheater rocken.
Die Location:
Die Rote Bar befindet sich im ersten Stock des Wiener Vorkstheaters und fasst circa 400 Personen:
Täglich nach Ende der der Theatervorstellung öffnet die Rote Bar ihre Türen für alle, die Lust haben, einen Abend mit guter Musik, spannenden und unterhaltsamen Programmen sowie gutem Essen und Getränken zu verbringen.

Residency - Die Philosophie:
Mit Residency soll eine regelmäßige Clubnight entstehen, die sich vorallem durch ausgefallene und abwechslungsreiche Bookings auszeichnet. Außerdem hat die resident - Crew jedes Mal eine andere österreichische Crew zu Gast, die ihr Können unter Beweis stellen werden. Informationen über die jeweilige special Guest Crew findet ihr auf Mit der extravaganten, neuen Location wird eine besondere Atmosphäre geschaffen, die sich in den Köpfen festsetzen soll.
Frei nach dem Motto: Drum'n'Bass muss nicht immer in dunklen Clubs zu finden sein.
Residency v.01
Unsere Gäste aus Deutschland:
Cologne/Germany based Sebastian and Henrik Wild aka nphect & dizplay collaborate as a drum’n'bass producer team since early 2002. Both coming from a band related background, they quickly found their own definition of sound, which is mainly based on raw & harsh Neurofunk, but also contains rave and/or pop related elements, often in form of uplifting vocals. To describe their style, n&d like to cite early Stakka & Skynet, Noisia+Phace with a hint of John B.
When in December 2002 n&d sent a promo cd to different labels containing seven tracks, this curred unexpectedly positive feedback within the German and international scene. Soon “Rotor” was signed to Protogen Records, accompanied by high interest in the other tunes, which led to international contacts and remixes, like the Su3-ject Remix of “Tsunami”, which was released on Trickdisc.
In 2003 additional releases followed on Assimilate and the infamous Basswerk imprint, to which the two quickly established a fruitful relationship. The 12″ “Velvet Morning”/”The Syndicate” was dropped by likes of Dieselboy and Aquasky as well as given a very positive review in Knowledge Magazine.
Soon thereafter n&d started serious DJing in numerous clubs and festivals, like the mighty Kingz Of The Jungle, the Rheinkultur and Nature One festivals and a couple of European venues. Several releases followed on U3R, Giana Brotherz, Shadybrain and UTTS and marked the base for constant votes from 2004 on as being among the top 10 German producers.
2006 has seen great things, in form of “Beautiful Bytes”, their debut album on Basswerk, a North America tour in March and a releases on Renegade Hardware, M-atome, Syndrome, Citrus and Full Force. Some more hotties in the pipe…

Tricky.Breakz besteht aus dem in Wiener Daniel Daghofer aka. darkD
und dem Brasilianer MC Regis, der mit seinen südländischen Vibez jedes Set unverwechselbar macht. Das Drum'n'Bass Kollektiv hat sich mit den legendären Parties im Club Ost in Wien einen Namen gemacht. Was euch Styletechnich erwarten wird: von Neurofunk bis hin zu Techstep wird alles vertreten sein.

Visual Creativity:
The Optical-Engineers, namely Markus Fischer and Daniel Ringhofer, started off by chance in early 2005. Since then they performed with different Drum and Bass Crews, such as Synergetic, Resident, Wicked, Cloud9 and Soundsquad. They also performed at the Urban Artforms Festivals 05 and 06 and as resident VJs of the e-lastic and Dynamic Vibes crew they are playing regulary in Vienna and Klagenfurt.
Their preffered Music Genre reaches from Drum and Bass and Breakbeat to House and Techno.
The main point in their performances is to catch the vibe of the very moment and set the breaks and drops in scenery, as they are vital parts of the set. Audio and visual has to go one in one.
