Diesen Sommer macht die ENERGY UNION TOUR in Wien und Graz Halt. Ziel ist es, junge Leute nachhaltig für Intelligente Energie zu sensibilisieren. Die Kampagne animiert auf unkonventionelle Weise dazu, selbst aktiv zu werden. Und das mit Hilfe einer Sprache die Menschen auf der ganzen Welt verstehen: Die Sprache der Musik und Bilder.

Die Londoner Band Coldcut konzipiert eigens für diese Tour eine audio-visuelle Live Show. Coldcut - Matt Black und Jonathan Moore - werden zu den bedeutendsten Protagonisten von audiovisuellen Werken gezählt. Mit ihrem 1987 veröffentlichten Remix des Eric B. & Rakim Tracks "Paid in Full" verhalfen sie der Kunstform des "Remix und Samplings" zu neuem Stellenwert. Mit dem Hit "Timber", den sie 1998 zusammen mit Hexstatic produzierten, wurde “audio-visuelle Musik“ über die Grenzen Großbritanniens hinaus bekannt. Die eigens für ENERGY UNION produzierte Show wird einmal mehr beweisen, dass Coldcut nach wie vor neue Maßstäbe setzen. Zu erwarten ist innovatives Live Kino im typischen “mash-up“ Coldcut Style.
