Rules Registration

General Rules:

All contestants must be 18 or above
At least ONE dance from 2003 or later must be performed (row like a boat, signal di plane, pon de river, parachute, etc...)
No political statements / speeches are allowed while on the stage - strictly dancing and entertainment, seen?
A detailed schedule for the event will be posted as soon as enough contestants have registered. Please note that the deadline for registering is Friday, the 9.04.2004 !!

The contest will be held in three categories :

Dancehall Queen
Best Male Dancer
Best Dancing Soundsystem
Each category will run through 3 rounds:

1st round: freestyle dancing, music selected by the hosting soundsystem - no elimination

2nd round: elimination! After introducing themselves, each contestant will have to dance to the tune she/he/they selected! In case the contestant does not have a tune request, the hosting soundsystem will pick one. Please make sure you tell us in advance (through the registration form on the right) what tune you want!! Only 3 Contestants from this round will reach the...

3rd round: FINAL! The Top 3 in their respective categories battle it out, dancing to music selected by the hosting soundsystem!!
