Juni ist es endlich wieder soweit: moon-motion empfängt zum fünften Geburtstag mit DJ Simon Bassline Smith (Technique Recordings, London, UK) einen weiteren Hochkaräter und absoluten Top-DJ der englischen Drum & Bass Szene und wird zusammen mit ihm die Kranhalle in München ordentlich zum Beben bringen! Es wird der erste Auftritt „Basslines“ überhaupt in München werden! Als Support am Mic wird MC MasterX performen. Eines der größten und frischesten Stimmtalente, das die UK-Drum & Bass-Szene bisher herausgebracht hat. Die Birminghamer Legende mit dem Spitznamen „Bassline“ (den Beinamen ‚Bassline‘ hat sich Simon Smith ‚verdient‘, indem er des Öfteren bei Partys die Boxen durch seine „heavy sub bass sounds“ zerstörte) ist nicht nur seit dem Aufkommen des Jungle-Sounds in den frühen 90ern mit von der Partie, in Zusammenarbeit mit seinem Partner „Drumsound“ ist er auch als Produzent und Labelboss eine nicht zu verachtende Hausnummer. Sein Label Technique Recordings hatte sich schon nach den ersten drei Veröffentlichungen vom Geheimtipp zu einer etablierten Größe entwickelt. Und das ist bei Weitem nicht alles, auch die anderen großen Labels wollten eine Portion Bassline Smith und so hat er neben Technique Recordings auch auf bekannten Labels wie Grooveriders Prototype, Bryan Gees V Recordings, Adam F Breakbeat Kaos, Hypes Ganja Records, Mickey Finns Urban Takeover und sogar Bukems Good Looking veröffentlicht. Über die Jahre hat sich Bassline Smith außerdem zum hervorragenden DJ entwickelt, der nicht nur mit exzellenten Mixkünsten aufwartet, sondern auch stets im richtigen Moment zum richtigen Tune greift. Mit MC Master X kommt frischer Wind aus dem MC Lager des Drum&Bass-Zirkus. Master X hat bereits mit einer Großzahl an Drum&Bass-Top DJs performt wie z.B. Diesel Boy, DJ Storm oder Bryan G. Vor allem die Sets mit Noisia auf Festivals wie dem Gatecrasher und dem berühmten Creamfields in Liverpool haben Master X zum Durchbruch verholfen.
