Im diesem Frühjahr trägt die Austrian DJ Federation bereits zum 4. Mal die MixTour aus und macht diesmal in Wien, Graz und Klagenfurt halt. Bei diesem Event-Format touren internationale Szene-Größen mit heimischen Künstlern gemeinsam durch Österreich und begeistern das Publikum mit ihrem ausgefallenen Programm. Wie jedes Jahr erhalten die Besucher eine MixTour-CD an der Abendkasse gratis, auf der Beiträge gefragter nationaler und internationaler Acts zu finden sind (darunter
DJ Vadim, Makossa&Megablast, Hospital Records, D.Kay&Rawfull, Insight, Steady Diggin Workshop, Circus).

Als Headliner ist 2007 kein Geringerer als DJ Vadim aka "the Russian Percussion" ist seit knapp zwei Jahrzehnten Garant für anspruchsvolle, innovative und abwechslungsreiche Musik. Mehr als 1000 Live-Shows hat er seit dem Jahr 2000 gegeben und unzählige Releases auf Ninja Tune veröffentlicht.
Nun steht sein neuestes Meisterstück "The Soundcatcher" (BBE Records) ab April in den Läden und wird anschließend gebührend auf Welttournee live präsentiert.
Man darf sich auf eine einzigartige Live-Show bestehend aus Soul, Funk, HipHop, Dancehall und Reggae freuen – musikalische Genres, in denen die Wurzeln der jeweiligen Künstler verankert liegen.
