Rob Swift erregte erstmals öffentliches Aufsehen mit der legenderen Dj und Musikgruppe the X Ecutioners: Seither gelten die X Ecutioners als die bekannteste Dj Truppe in der Geschichte des Hip Hops, live wie auch auf Platte.
Das Rolling Stone Magazine nominierte Rob Swift’s Gruppe the X- Ecutioners "as one of the top 50 Players in Hip-Hop alongside the likes of Jay-Z, Master P and Lauryn Hill", veröffentlichten 3
Klassiker auf Loud Records und Columbia Records, arbeiteten mit Stars wie Linkin Park, Xzibit, Mike Patton (Faith no More), Big Pun, M.O.P, Fat Joe, Fatman Scoop und unzählige Welt Touren, TV Auftritte wie bei MTV, the David Letterman Show etc. folgten.

High Density freut sich Ihnen im Rahmen der „I LOVE“-Serie ein ganz besonderes Highlight präsentieren zu dürfen – DJ Aphrodite wird die Camera am 17. Februar mit einem Jungle-Set der Extraklasse beehren.
DJ Aphrodite, einer der Pioniere der Drum’n’Bass Bewegung, begann seine Karriere Ende der 80er Jahre inmitten der Acid-house Szene. Zu Weltruhm gelang er mit seinem Remix-Album „Aphrodite“ und zählt seit seiner Welttournee 1999 zu den international bekanntesten Drum’n’Bass DJ’s. Als Produzent hat sich Aphrodite mit Club-Hits wie „Darkside 99“ und „Calcutta“ längst etabliert und betreibt seit 1996 zusammen mit Mickey Finn das renommierte Label Urban Takeover Records. Seine aktuelle 12“ „Ganja Man Remix / Tantalize“ ist soeben auf den hauseigenen Label Aphrodite Records erschienen.
Remixes für Songs von A Tribe called Quest, Blackstreet, Jungle Brothers und Luniz („No Diggity“) machten ihn und seine Musik auch in den USA bekannt.
