Danny Breaks started his recording career in 1991 on the infamous Suburban Base records. After several chart successes under the "Sonz of a Loop da Loop era" moniker Danny decided to set up his own record label "Droppin' Science" in 1993.
From its first release Droppin' Science has received global respect for its constant innovation in the production of Drum and Bass music.
After several years Dannys heavy hip hop influence started to maniphest itself into little hip hop bonus cuts on his 12's which eventually spawned Alphabet Zoo records in 2000 to release hip hop only beatz with an emphasis on scratch dj's and producers.
Now fully concentrating on his hip hop career Danny's music combines his love of vintage synthesizers, raw beatz and skratching and has been receiving props worldwide. As well as a successful d.j career touring throughout the world Danny has recorded and remixed for:
MoWax,Universal Language, D.J Krush,Phife Dawg(tribe called quest),Last Emperor,4 Hero,Lone Catalyst,Kirsty Hawkshaw,D.j Zinc,Karma, True Playaz,Om Records,Suburban Base,Moving shadow, lootpack, Technical Itch, EZ Rollers, Andy C, Amon Tobin, Pascal, Freshmess on Wax and Tom Tyler. |
